Welcome

10 years designing for print, screen and many other applications, I now feel confident in the premise of 'living the brand'. Working, as I do now, at 10 Associates I've had the opportunity to communicate with a broad spectrum of clients dealing, on a daily basis, with an even broader spectrum of customers and end users.

One thing that we instill with all of the afformentioned companies is that their brand is not just a standalone logomark but is something that runs through the core of their business, affecting upon the philosophy and the methods in which they communicate to their business sector every minute of every day.

You'll find here a small selection of projects here that will hopefully make interesting looking (should be reading but it's mainly pictures, sorry) so please have a click through and drop me a line if there is anything you'd like to discuss.

BENT ARCHITECT

Former writer in residence with Major Road Theatre Co, Mick Martin, and theatre programmer, Jude Wright asked me to look at creating an identity for their newley formed theatre company 'Bent Architect'. The name is intended to reflect the very 3 dimensional element of our aspirations and the idea of a very modern sense of design and build culture in the 21st century, but from a very particular and skewed perspective.

SENSE INTERNET *

The key focus of the rebrand of Sense Internet was to capture the essence of the whole team and create something that they would be proud to talk about. 'A little book of Sense' was created as a targetted direct mail piece, the 'Internet World' exhibition stand was widely blogged about as being the best at the show.

CHAPTER EIGHT *

The mission: "To design a new brand that will be distinctive enough to eventually stand alone, in any colour or treatment, and still be recognised as Chapter Eight." The philosophy was simple, if it stood still for a minute then it would be branded.

KEYSTONE *

Keystone were leaders in the north of England for the placement of healthcare staff in to hospitals and primary care trusts. The visual representation of Keystone at the time in no way reflected the pride, honesty and quality of care that those who had built it up firmly belived in, and so it was our goal to create a presence, primarily online, that firmly positioned Keystone as the main player in this field.

THE FAMILY HUB

The branding project was a result of working with Leeds City Council for a number of months developing 'The Family Hub' identity, which encapsulated the three specialist departments within the Children's Information Service, aswell as to produce and promote a 200 page A5 activities guide for families within the Leeds area.
